Thanks to everyone who attended this years festival. It is our hope that a good time was had by all. Email us your pictures and we will put them on the website with any comments or suggestions. Our goal is to make this festival better for you.
A special thanks to all our volunteers who make this event happen. Without you it would be impossible.

The 8th Annual Appalachian Uprising begins this Thursday, June 4th.
Tickets will be available at the gate. A 3 day pass is $100. 1 day tickets are $35.
Gates open at Noon on Monday for those early birds who want to come out and enjoy Eden Valley Farm. Get on down to the Fastest Growing Bluegrass Festival East of the Mississippi!!! |

Tickets are going fast for the 2009 Appalachian Uprising. Eden Valley Farm is making final preparations awaitng the arrival of each and everyone of you! Tickets are available on our website up until May 25th. They will be $90 for a Three Day Pass. One day tickets are available as well for $30.
TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE GATE. 3 DAY PASS IS $100, AND A ONE DAY PASS IS $35.

We are now less then 40 days from Appalachian Uprising. It will be here before we know it. The discount on 3 day tickets is until May 25th for $90. After that date no advance tickets will be sold and will be $100 at the gate.
We welcome the addition of Great American Taxi, Ind' Grass, GreenSky Bluegrass, and The Hillbilly Gypsies to our lineup. Dates and times will be up shortly.

Randy Wilson's "Africa to Appalachia" is an impressive introduction to the banjo's extensive history. Randy a musician from Eastern Kentucky performs many workshops at colleges throughout the region and internationally as well as this year at Appalachian Uprising which also had a brief clawhammer style banjo focus as well as a mountain banjo style main performance including a gourd from Ghana. We are excited to announce that Bawn in the Mash will make a return trip to Ironton right before AU 09! They will be playing The Fuzzy Duck on June 3rd, 2009. Make plans on groovin' on the river with them on Wednesday and then following them on out to Scottown and get down in the Valley! Who knows, you may see the AU crew there giving you a chance to win free tickets to The Appalachian Uprising.
